Warranty Terms Can Vary by Product or Order
A cosmetic grade does not by itself create or determine a warranty period. Any warranty applicable to a product or order should be confirmed from the relevant product information, quotation, invoice, order confirmation or other written terms applicable to that transaction.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Warranty & Returns Policy provides the general framework used by Silver Sky Import Export FZE LLC when reviewing warranty enquiries, reported product issues and return requests relating to products purchased from us.
Silver Sky supplies electronics on a business-to-business basis. Products may include pre-owned, refurbished, open-box or other electronics depending on the stock available and the terms of the particular transaction.
A quotation, invoice, order confirmation or other written agreement may contain product-specific warranty or return terms. Where specific terms have been agreed for an order, those terms should be read together with this policy.
2. Warranty Where Applicable
Warranty coverage is not automatically identical for every product sold by Silver Sky.
Where a warranty applies, the applicable period, scope and any particular conditions should be identified in the relevant product information, quotation, invoice, order confirmation or other written commercial terms provided for that transaction.
Customers should review the applicable warranty information before confirming an order where warranty coverage is an important part of the purchasing decision.
3. Product Grade & Warranty
Product grading and warranty coverage are separate matters.
A grade such as Grade A+, Grade A, Grade B, Open Box or another condition description is intended to provide general information about the cosmetic or overall condition of the relevant stock.
The grade assigned to a product does not, by itself, guarantee a particular warranty period, battery condition, technical specification or return entitlement.
Customers should review the specific product and transaction information supplied with the relevant stock.
4. Reporting a Product Issue
If a customer identifies a problem with products supplied by Silver Sky, the issue should be reported to us as soon as reasonably practicable after it is identified.
Providing clear information helps us review the matter efficiently. Where relevant, please include:
Invoice, quotation, order reference or other information that identifies the transaction.
Product name, model, specification and quantity affected.
A clear description of the problem and when it was identified.
Photographs, video or other supporting information where it is relevant to the reported issue.
5. Review of Warranty Claims
When a warranty or product issue is reported, Silver Sky may review the information provided against the relevant product description, order information and any warranty terms applicable to the transaction.
Additional information may be requested where reasonably required to understand the reported issue.
Reporting a problem does not automatically mean that a replacement, return, credit or refund has been approved. The appropriate resolution depends on the circumstances of the claim and the terms applicable to the relevant order.
6. Return Authorization
Customers should contact Silver Sky before returning products in connection with a warranty or product issue.
Where a return is required, Silver Sky will provide or confirm the relevant return instructions after reviewing the request.
Products sent back without prior communication or sufficient order information may be more difficult to identify and process.
A return request or return authorization does not by itself determine the final outcome of a warranty claim. Returned products may need to be reviewed before a resolution is confirmed.
7. Possible Resolution
Where a reported issue is accepted under the warranty or commercial terms applicable to the transaction, the appropriate resolution will depend on the product, availability, nature of the issue and the relevant order terms.
Depending on the circumstances, a resolution may involve:
- Replacement of an affected product where appropriate stock is available.
- Return of the affected product where agreed.
- A commercial credit where agreed between the parties.
- Another resolution agreed between Silver Sky and the customer.
No particular remedy is guaranteed in every case unless it has been expressly agreed in the terms applicable to the transaction.
8. General Warranty Exclusions
Unless different terms have been expressly agreed for a particular transaction, warranty consideration may not apply to problems resulting from circumstances that arise after the products have been supplied and are unrelated to their condition at the time of supply.
Depending on the circumstances and the applicable warranty terms, examples may include:
- Accidental or physical damage occurring after delivery or collection.
- Liquid or moisture damage occurring after delivery or collection.
- Misuse, neglect or use inconsistent with the normal operation of the product.
- Unauthorized modification, alteration or repair after supply.
- Damage caused by incompatible accessories, chargers, software or external equipment.
- User-created passwords, activation locks, account locks or other access restrictions added after the product was supplied.
- Damage resulting from shipping or handling arranged independently by the buyer after the agreed handover point.
- Normal cosmetic wear occurring after delivery or collection.
The circumstances of each claim will be reviewed against the terms applicable to the relevant transaction.
9. Battery Condition
Battery condition can vary between pre-owned electronic devices and should not be assumed solely from a product's cosmetic grade.
Where specific battery information or battery-related warranty coverage is important to an order, it should be confirmed from the applicable product information or transaction terms before the order is finalized.
This policy does not create a universal minimum battery-health percentage for all products supplied by Silver Sky.
10. Dead on Arrival or Immediate Product Issues
If products arrive with an immediate functional issue or a material discrepancy from the confirmed order information, customers should contact Silver Sky promptly and provide the relevant order and product details.
Silver Sky will review the reported issue according to the circumstances and the warranty or commercial terms applicable to the transaction.
Unless a specific reporting period has been agreed for an order, this policy does not create a fixed universal Dead on Arrival reporting period for every product or transaction.
11. Shipping & Return Costs
Responsibility for transportation, return shipping, collection or other costs connected with a warranty claim may depend on the reason for the return, the agreed delivery terms and the warranty or commercial terms applicable to the transaction.
Customers should therefore contact Silver Sky before arranging the return of products so that the relevant process can be discussed and confirmed.
12. Products Purchased for Resale
Silver Sky supplies products on a business-to-business basis, and customers may purchase products for resale or other commercial purposes.
Any warranty, return or after-sale commitment that a customer independently offers to its own customers is separate from the warranty or commercial terms agreed between Silver Sky and the original business customer, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
13. Transaction-Specific Terms
Because wholesale electronics transactions can involve different products, conditions, quantities and commercial arrangements, specific warranty or return terms may vary between orders.
Customers should review the quotation, invoice, order confirmation, product information and any other written terms provided for the relevant transaction.
Where specific written warranty or return terms have been agreed for a transaction, those terms apply to that transaction subject to applicable law.
14. Warranty & Return Enquiries
To report a product issue or ask about warranty or return terms applicable to an order, contact Silver Sky and provide the relevant transaction and product information.
